Welcome to Sit and Sew Studio!
Our passion is sewing!! Our goal is to provide a creative atmosphere that inspires as well as share our practical knowledge and experience. You will find the studio open, spacious, and relaxing. Age is no limitation ~ young or not-so-young ~ we welcome you.
Whether you want to learn to sew, quilt, make alterations, practice a new technique, learn machine embroidery, work on a surprise gift for a loved one, or simply enjoy some time with friends, Sit and Sew is the place to make it happen. Established to meet the needs of sew-ers with novice to expert skills. We have the space to assist you with completion of small or large projects.
We encourage you to bring your own sewing machine or serger but you can also arrange to use one of ours. We own several machines from entry level to embroidery machines. If you are in the market for a personal machine, we can help direct you to a dealership that will meet your skill level as well as your budget need.
We have large cutting areas, rulers, shears, rotary cutters, pins, ironing boards, irons, an other tools useful in completing your project. You bring the project, we'll guide you through it to completion.
So call and arrange a time to join us! The studio operates on an appointment basis so that everyone is comfortable and you get the assistance you need.
Here's how it works...select your project, call for an appointment - you MUST have an appointment, and we'll help you achieve your goal! It's that simple!
Rates are as follows:
$15.00/hour - studio rental time
$45.00 for 3 1/2 hour block of time
$25.00/hour - long arm quilting (one hour minimum)
